Disneyland Armed Forces Salute Renewed for 2025

Disneyland has announced its 2025 Disney Armed Forces Salute!

There are no changes to this year's offer, just ticket price increases.

Tickets - There is no change to the types of Salute Tickets offered, Hopper and Hopper plus Lightning Lane Multi Pass, on ticket lengths of 3 & 4 days.

Rooms - There is also no change to Disneyland's wording of the Room Discounts. The percent off remains unstated, but I expect them to be the same as traditionally offered: UP TO 30% off Pixar Pier, UP TO 35% off the Disneyland Hotel, and UP TO 40% off the Grand Californian.

Universal Orlando Resort Freedom Pass Renewed for 2025

The Universal Orlando Resort has continued its Special Military Tickets called the Freedom Pass for 2025 with no price increase!

Freedom Passes are "Unlimited Use Tickets" that are sort of like a Universal Annual Pass, but without the other benefits that Universal adds to their regular annual passes (like free parking and discounts). These are officially not passes.

Disney Lightning Premier Pass Pilot Program

Disney has just announced the first change to its very pricey pilot or test program for Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

All Disney World Owned Hotels as well as Shades of Green and the Swan/Dolphin Hotels are now eligible to purchase these passes. Previously only Disney Deluxe and Shades of Green and the Swan/Dolphin Hotels were able to.

The Premier Pass introduction follows the change to Lightning Lane Single and Multi Pass from Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane Purchase earlier this year.

Premier Pass works like Universal Orlando's cheaper Basic Express Pass, allowing you to enter each Lightning Lane attraction once during the day at any time.

Disney says sales of these passes will continue to be very limited, and they have priced them to make it so.

Disney Cruise Line Military Discounts

Did you know that the Disney Cruise Line also offers Military Discounts?

They Sure do!

These discounts aren't offered all the time though. They are just for specific sailings and cabin types. And they are often available to book for a limited time. In fact, the list of availability changes every week! Disney updates the dates if needed on Mondays (as do we).

Last month Disney stopped publishing prices on their website. They just publish the available dates for the military discounts now. You or your travel agent must call for prices.
