Hi there, Welcome to this month's Newsletter. I hope that you had a wonderful Fourth of July holiday!

A little over a year ago we started a new project on the website, that being the creation of more general interest content (like info about attractions and restaurants). We decided to go in date order of the opening of Disney World's parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and then Animal Kingdom) with Resort and Disney Springs mixed in.

Well, we are wrapping up the Magic Kingdom and moving on to EPCOT this month. I hope that you enjoy the new content!

Mears Connect and the Sunshine Flyer Merge

A big surprise this month was the merger of the Sunshine Flyer and Mears Connect. Mears was the company that ran Disney's free Magical Express under contract to Disney. When Disney stopped offering the Magical Express, Mears continued it just as it was only now for a fee. About 6 months later the Sunshine Flyer debuted a similar service.

Shades of Green Closed Laundry Rooms

Mid-month Shades of Green announced that their laundry rooms would be closed until further notice. This follows a period of time that saw a lot of complaints about non-functional machines and or payment processing.

I assume this closure is to work with the company that they contract with for the machines. In the meantime they do offer an expensive valet laundry service.

Disney Genie+ By Park Pricing

This month the Disney Genie+ Service switched to pricing by park. That means there is a different price to buy Genie+ based on the park that you want to use it in each day.
